Paula Two Star

This letter is to thank you for saving the life of my precious 20 year old quarter horse mare “Paula Two Star”. You see Paula is a special mare from the Douglas Lake Ranch who we bought from the “Sunshine Foundation” – a make a wish foundation. We bought her for our 11 year old daughter Kristy Coueffin – you may remember her as the little girl who wore the huge helmet to save her from hundreds of epileptic seizures per day. Kristy had 3 brain surgeries in the US, all of which were televised on CBC as “Kristy’s Courage” since she had to be awake for all 3 brain surgeries. At the time that Paula came into Kristy’s life Kristy was very depressed because she could never play like other children. When this special little cutting horse came into her life she finally found something she could do and do well!  We would tie Kristy into the saddle like a sapling tree and she would ride her heart out. Every time she would start to seizure Paula would stop immediately and wait until Kristy felt okay again.

            Then in July of this year Paula started colicking on a daily basis and I was told there was nothing I could do for her other than medicate her every day. I made a call to a local horse store where she gave me your number and thank god she did. On your advice I started her on the Pro-Colon, Pro-Dygest, and Gastricol – they are easy to administer and I was surprised that Paula actually loves the taste since she usually spits everything else out. I have kept a journal of her sick days and since starting on your products we are 17 days healthy!!!

            Last year we were offered $10,000 US for Paula as a “Chunky’s Monkey” mare but, of course, we told him that not all horses are about money – “Paula Two Star” is all about LOVE!
