I am sending this letter to thank you for introducing me to Riva's Remedies. I met and talked to you at Spruce Meadows Equifair last September. We discussed my horse Merlin, an 8 year old TB/Han. gelding, and the sarcoid he had in the corner of his mouth. You suggested using Equi-derm.

Merlin's sarcoid was the size of my thumb and was interferring with the bit and aggravated by it. It would grow and bleed at times. Training became a hit and miss affair. The vets had said surgical removal was not an option because of its location. They suggested one other cancer treatment, but only gave a 30 % chance of success. I was ready to give up dressage with this horse.

I started using Equi-derm at the end of Sept. '06. The first two months were the worst I had ever seen. The sarcoid grew bigger, broke open, and oozed an incredible amount of fluid. It was raw and bleeding for weeks. Merlin also developed lumps under the skin of his chin and throat area. To tell the truth, I was scared for him. After talking to you on the phone, I felt better as you had said the remedy was detoxing his system and bringing out all the nasty stuff. It was working.

Now, another two months later, I wish I had taken pictures. The sarcoid is completely gone. The only hint that he had this awful growth is one tiny scar in the corner of his mouth. Truly amazing. You would have had to see it to believe it. Again, I wish I had taken pictures.
I am going to finish up the last of the Equi-derm (about two more weeks worth). Merlin will get the rest of the winter off, and will start with riding with the bit in the spring. We'll see how it goes, (unless you suggest otherwise).

Equi-derm has healed a problem I thought was hopeless. My sincere thanks to you.
