Welcome to the New Year of 2012!
 

Well, we’re finally here. So much has been written, discussed, debated and argued about 2012. It seems that some of us believe that an apocalypse of mass destruction will now throw all of us and our animals as well as Mother Earth into a landslide of more suffering. That the ancient prophesies foretell a period of major cataclysmic changes that will change the world and its entire people forever. And then there are those of us who believe that the occurrences of 2012 will provide us with a platform of change from where we can move into a higher place of consciousness and a lighter-filled vibration.

No matter what the prophesy – one thing is for sure: The world has never been more ready for a major injection of love, kindness and compassion into every corner of her being. That it is time to end the barbaric, ego-based, territorial-driven warring behaviours of humankind is without dispute. Our uncivilized and brutal conduct is so much a part of our history that it has come to be considered by many as normal. It is therefore hard to imagine that any events occurring in 2012 and beyond could be more catastrophic or devastating than the atrocities that we have inflicted upon each other and our animals over hundreds of thousands of years. And yet it is easy to imagine that a conscious and dramatic change in both our personal and global behavior could very well avert these widespread predictions of disaster and ruin.

I therefore invite all of you to enter into the New Year with an open heart, decisions based on compassion and a desire for harmony. Let us heal ourselves, each other, our animals, and the Pacha Mama (Earth Mother) - she has given us so much.
